Even for western Maine, that was a week of weird weather.

We started with heat warnings on Monday, enjoyed the nicest imaginable weather Thursday/Friday and are capping it off with yet another round of rain for the weekend. Very excited to see what July brings us — snow is probably out of the question but meteors may not be.

But all the growing things are happy, we aren't at much risk for a drought and the July 4 holiday is right around the corner. Life is good.

This week's links include stories about the weather, vetoes for five Maine bills and Livermore Falls rejecting town budget articles for the second time.
